The Musée Rodin is a magnificent setting for the world's largest collection of works by the great French sculptor Auguste Rodin (1840-1917). In the heart of a French garden, you can see major monuments such as The Thinker and The Gates of Hell. The Kiss, the symbol of love, is a must-see for all romantics of the world.

Auguste Rodin moved into the Hôtel Biron in 1908, with the intention of setting up his own museum. In 1916, he made a donation to the French state, bestowing all his works and possessions so that the museum could be created as he wished on this captivating site. In 1919, two years after his death, the Hôtel and garden officially became the Musée Rodin.   

The beauty of the site and the works there make it a place of rare unity. Perceived as a haven of peace in the heart of the capital, you'll soon be saying: "the Musée Rodin, my favourite museum".
