International flight to international flight

Procedure

After going through Customs and Immigrations upon International Arrivals, must go to the Departures terminal. Please note that there are no separate terminals/gates for International and Domestic.


Notes

You must pick up your luggage at the carrousel and proceed customs clearance upon arrival even though you check in your luggage to the final destination. Then you may drop your luggate at the transit counter before exit international arrival.

Baggage transfer

Per CBP regulations, it is prohibited to open bags within the Customs and Immigrations area, so if you are transferring to a domestic/interisland flight, please refer to the following:

1. Please go to the TRANSIT COUNTER after picking up bag(s).

2. Please double-check if the bag(s) are TAGGED to your final destination with the agent.

3. Please check if you are carrying any liquid items (duty free) that needs to be in your check-in luggage (Liquid items over 100ml: alcohol, cosmetics, perfume/cologne, etc.)

4. Please choose a check-in luggage to put in the duty free items.

5. Please take the chosen bag and duty free items with you, and leave the other check-in bags with the agent at the TRANSIT COUNTER.

6. Please take the check-in bag and head over to the designated airline (Hawaiian, United, etc.) for check-in. Once you arrive at the check-in area, please put in the duty free items and drop your bags at the BAGGAGE DROP OFF area, which is located next to the kiosk/check-in counters.

★Please note that if your bag(s) are tagged all the way through to your final destination, please do not remove the baggage tag. Once removed, there is a high possibility of paying for baggage check-in fees.
