- Mileage accrual for codeshare flights is based on the operating carrier's accrual rates, determined by your purchased fare and booking class.

Codeshare Flights of Asiana Airlines and Korean Air

For Asiana-Korean Air codeshare flights, mileage will be credited to the marketing carrier’s account under the marketing carrier’s flight number.
Asiana Airlines (the marketing carrier) policies apply to elite benefits, accrual standards, and mileage earned per route.
Mileage earned from Korean Air-operated codeshare flights does not count toward Asiana Club elite status upgrades.

Codeshare Flights of Asiana Airlines and Star Alliance Partners

Asiana Club miles can be earned on codeshare flights between Asiana Airlines and Star Alliance partners.
However, if the operating carrier is a Star Alliance partner, mileage will accrue based on the operating carrier's flight number and accrual standards.E.g., Incheon-Nagoya OZ/NH codeshare flight: Asiana Club miles are eligible for accrual.
If operated by NH, miles will be credited under the NH flight number, even if booked as an OZ flight.

Codeshare Flights of Two Star Alliance Partners

Asiana Club miles are earned on Star Alliance scheduled flights based on the operating carrier and booking class, and count toward elite status upgrades. Miles can also be earned when flying with Asiana Airlines' partner carriers.
E.g., Nagoya-San Diego NH/UA codeshare flight: Eligible for Asiana Club mileage accrual.

Codeshare Flights of Asiana Airlines and Partners

Asiana Club miles can be earned on codeshare flights between Asiana Airlines and its partner carriers. However, if the flight is operated by a partner carrier, mileage accrual is based on the operating carrier's flight number and booking class.
E.g., Incheon-Doha OZ/QR codeshare flight: Eligible for Asiana Club mileage accrual. If operated by QR, miles will be credited based on the QR flight number and class, even if booked as an OZ flight.

Codeshare Flights of Star Alliance Partners and Non-Star Alliance Partners

For codeshare flights between Star Alliance and non-Star Alliance airlines, mileage is only earnable if the operating carrier is a Star Alliance member. Mileage cannot be earned if the flight is operated by a non-Star Alliance carrier.
Ex 1) Incheon-Almaty (OZ/KC): Miles are earned if the flight is operated by Asiana Airlines (OZ).
Ex 2) Incheon-Macau (OZ/NX): Miles are NOT earned if the flight is operated by Air Macau (NX).

- When boarding codeshare flights of Star Alliance, miles are earned based on the class of the operating carrier, according to the fare and the class you have purchased. For the class of the operating carrier, please contact Asiana Club Service Center. When boarding on a class of Americas route, actually operated by OZ among flights jointly operated by OZ and UA: Miles are earned based on V class of actual operator OZ whose rate is as high as the applied rate For codeshare flights with Star Alliance partners, it takes three to four weeks from the date of request to earn missing miles.
