Codeshare Flights of Asiana Airlines and Star Alliance Partners
When a passenger uses codeshare flights operated by Asiana Airlines and a Star Alliance partner, the passenger may earn Asiana Club Miles. If the operating carrier is a Star Alliance partner, the miles are earned based on the mileage earning criteria for the flight name of the carrier and the mileage earning policy of the carrier.
e.g. OZ/NH codeshare flight for the IncheonRound-TripNagoya route: A passenger may earn Asiana Club Miles. If the operating carrier is NH, the miles are earned in the flight name of NH even when the passenger boards the OZ flight.
Codeshare Flights of Two Star Alliance Partners
A passenger using codeshare flights of two Star Alliance partners may earn Asiana Club Miles are earned based on the flight name and the reservation class of the operator.
e.g. NH/UA codeshare flights for the Nagoya Round-TripSan Diego route: A passenger may earn Asiana Club Miles.
Codeshare Flights of Asiana Airlines and Partners
If Asiana Airlines and partners operate codeshare flights, a passenger may earn Asiana Club Miles. If an operating carrier is a partner, the passenger earns miles in the name of the flight name of the operating carrier and based on the class of the operating carrier.
e.g. OZ/QR codeshare flights from Incheon to Doha: A passenger may earn Asiana Club Miles If an operating carrier is QR, a passenger earns miles for QR flight name and class even though the passenger boards an OZ flight.
Codeshare Flights of Star Alliance Partners and Non-Star Alliance Partners
When a passenger uses codeshare flights operated by a Star Alliance partner and a non-Star Alliance airline, the passenger may earn miles if the operating carrier is a Star Alliance partner. The passenger cannot earn miles if the operating carrier is a non-Star Alliance partner.
Example) Miles are earned when a star member boards a OZ flight on an Incheon/Almaty route jointly operated by OZ (Star Airline) and KC (Non-star Airline).
Example) Miles are not earned when a star member boards a NX flight on an Incheon/Macau route jointly operated by OZ (Star Airline) and NX (Non-star Airline)

When boarding codeshare flights of Star Alliance, miles are earned based on the class of the operating carrier, according to the fare and the class you have purchased. For the class of the operating carrier, please contact Asiana Club Service Center. When boarding on a class of Americas route, actually operated by OZ among flights jointly operated by OZ and UA: Miles are earned based on V class of actual operator OZ whose rate is as high as the applied rate For codeshare flights with Star Alliance partners, it takes three to four weeks from the date of request to earn missing miles.
