Clark Field, where you can enjoy golf surrounded by nature
City Description

Clark Field is a small town where the US Air Force Base used to be located. After the US Air Force withdrew in 1991, the town has since built a golf course and various entertainment facilities and tourist attraction sites including Subic and Pinatubo, attracting the attention of tourists. It is not well known among KOrean tourists yet, but it is quite popular among golf enthusiasts, as many golf courses were built for Americans because it is where the American troops were once stationed. Americans are careful about the environment, so golfing in Clark, Philippines is very environmentally friendly.

Relaxing with a traditional Philippines massage after a game of golf is a must on the Clark Golf tour. Besides golf, there is a tourist attraction in Clark that must be visited - Mount Pinatubo, a dormant volcano that erupted in June 1991. At the time of the volcano explosion, the amount of volcanic ash was estimated to reach 5 billion tons. The path where the lava once flowed is now a tracking course. When you climb Mount Pinatubo, you will see clear traces of lava and volcanic ash. Hikers are flock from all around the world to climb this mountain. You will take the 4-wheel Jeep ride to half way up the mountain and the hike is about 4 hours round trip. The slope is gentle enough for anyone to climb.

Travel Tip

1. Please visit through your travel agent.
Excluding quintessential vacation resorts like Cebu and Boracay, the Philippines is not yet safe for independent travel. Public transportation such as subway, bus, and taxi are inadequate and renting a car and driving on your own is not advised. It is safe to use the hotel facilities or travel within Clark or the neighboring Korea Town, but if you want to go trekking, go to the hot springs on Mount Pinatubo, or enjoy water sports in Subic, we advise that you inquire a local travel agency in Korea or Clark.
2. There are many things to do.
In addition to golfing, Clark also has a variety of places to visit for family vacationers and women travelers on holiday trips to the Philippines. It is safe, its dry climate and clean environment defy the stereotypes of a pacific region, and the Filipinos in this area are friendly to foreign visitors. Though the hotels and golf facilities are still insufficient compared to the most popular tourist destinations, if you are looking for a different way to travel the Philippines, you should visit Clark, a city that is developing day by day.
