City Description

Phu Quoc, an immaculate Vietnamese vacation spot resembling Jeju Island
City Description

Phu Quoc is the largest island in southwest Vietnam, boasting pristine waters and beautiful beaches, as well as various leisure sports.

The island is also home to some of the world's finest quality pepper, and also produces the largest amount of the famous Vietnamese fish sauce, nuoc mam.

There are plenty of beautiful beaches, cafes and affordable restaurants to explore, find hidden-gem locations, swim in the magnificent resorts and spend a relaxing time with a refreshing cocktail.

If you wish to relax and enjoy the beautiful beaches in a clean area, Phu Quoc is Vietnam’s up-and-coming destination.

Travel Tip

Using electricity and electronic appliances
The voltage used is 220 V (50 Hz) and Korean electronic appliances can be used without an adapter.
Currency
The currency of Vietnam is dong (₫). Because the currency unit is large, it is convenient to convert the amount by searching and preparing a dong wallet. You may not be able to pay by credit card unless you are in big shops or department stores in the city, so it is a good idea to carry enough cash when traveling.
Language
The language used is Vietnamese. It is good to know some simple conversational expressions in case you are unable to communicate in English.
Transportation
If you have difficulties communicating when taking a taxi, you can use Google Maps to clearly show the location and to check where you are in real time.
