Check-in Procedure

  • 01
    Arrive at the Airport
    You are advised to arrive at the airport at least one hour before departure for domestic flights.
  • 02
    Get your Boarding Pass (select one)

    Option 1. Advance check-in

    Apply for online check-in or auto check-in 24 hours before departure and have home/mobile boarding pass issued.

    Option 2. Airport check-in

    Receive boarding pass via quick and easy kiosk check-in (automated self check-in machine)
  • 03
    Check your Baggage
    • Please present your ID and boarding pass at the Asiana Airlines counter and check your baggage.
    • Baggage check is free of charge for bags up to 20 kg per person. (Business class : 30kg)
  • 04
    Complete Security Screening
    Present your boarding pass and ID to the security at the entrance to the concourse (resident registration card/driver’s license/passport, etc.) and complete the security check before proceeding to the boarding gate.
  • 05
    Get on the Plane
    • For smooth boarding, you should carry your own boarding pass. (Save mobile boarding passes to your personal device, if possible.)
    • Boarding begins 15 minutes before departure and ends five minutes before departure.
    • To ensure timely operations, wait by the boarding gate in time for boarding.
Notes
  • Have a photo ID ready when you check in for domestic flights. (Children and infants must have proof-of-age documents.)
  • For mobile boarding passes, if the screen brightness is too dark, boarding pass recognition may not be possible.
  • Your reserved seat may change without notice for unavoidable reasons, such as airport conditions or changes in aircraft.
  • You cannot check in other passenger's baggage.
