- International and domestic lines are located in the integrated terminal (For domestic : A~D counters, For international : E~S counters)
<For transit bags> - TK domestic flight + TK international flight: baggage connection is possible - TK domestic flight + OZ international flight: In same booking and tickets, bag transfer will be possible. If separate ticket, baggage connection is not possible - passenger should claim their baggage on domestic arrival fist, after that check-in the baggage at counter for international flight. However please note that the bag transfer is under TK's control.International flight to international flight
Procedure
- After international flight arrival, if you have INT flight boarding pass, you can transfer to departure lounge through INT transfer line.
- After international flight arrival, if you don't have INT flight boarding pass, check-in at the airline transfer counter and receive boarding pass, and then move to departure lounge using INT transfer line. ***-In case of 1)Holding international flight boarding pass 2)THRU CHK-IN 3)having connecting time within 1 hour, please follow the "SHORT CONNECTION INTERNATIONAL" signboard as soon as you disembark from aircraft. This short-connection point helps passenger to transit faster.Notes
- Even though you check-in your baggage to the final destination, re-check at the transfering counter or departure gate
International flight to domestic flight
Procedure
- When connecting from international flight to domestic flight and if your bag is not connected to your final destination, pass CIQ, claim your baggage, and then move to domestic check-in counter at departure floor.
- THU-CHK IN passengers could transfer to domestic departure lounge through "Domestic transfer line" which located at the end of transfer level. - International and domestic lines are located in the integrated terminal (For domestic : A~D counters, For international : E~S counters)Baggage transfer
For Asiana international flight(at Incheon) -> Turkish airlines domestic flight transfer, passenger's baggage could be connected below stations ONLY.
- ADA, ESB, GZP, AYT, BJV, DLM, DNZ, DIY, EDO, EZS, ERC, ERZ, AOE, HTY, GZT, IST, ADB, KCM, KSY, ASR, KCO, KYA, KZR, MLX, NAV, OGU, RZV, SZF, NOP, VAS, GNY, TEQ, TJK, TZX, COV -Connecting baggage from ICN to 'SAW' station is PROHIBITTED. SAW airport is 1.30hr (approx) far away from IST airport by car. **For passengers who have separate booking** 1) Departure from ICN : If staff connect passenger's baggage to final destination, passenger does not need to claim baggage at IST airport. 2) For return FLT(from Turkey or any other overseas stations except ICN) : If staff doesn't connect passenger's baggage to final destination, passengers need to claim their baggage at IST airport. *Turkish airline usually doesn't approve connecting bags to final destination for transit passengers who have separate booking.© ASIANA AIRLINES.
